Using master and sub-projects to manage complex projects provides a structured approach to handling multiple components while maintaining an overarching view. Subprojects allow you to break items into manageable parts, each with its own estimates, tasks timelines, and invoicing. Combined with the added benefit of tracking at both the master and subproject levels enables detailed monitoring of individual components while maintaining a holistic view of the project. This dual perspective ensures better resource allocation, improved tracking, and streamline reporting requirements.
While it may be ideal to set up the structure at the start of a project, we know in reality, scope can change and Wiplist allows you to use this structure at any point. Estimates, purchase orders and invoices have the ability to change projects should this be required.
