Using the accounting log

Review the Xero accounting log to quickly identify errors

An accounting log serves as a detailed record of all financial transactions, changes, and system interactions from Wiplist to Xero. It helps track invoice, expenses, bills, purchases, and payment modifications, providing a clear audit trail for transparency and accountability. This log can be useful to troubleshooting discrepancies, reviewing past actions, and a detailed history of dates and times.

You can find the Logs by navigating to Settings > Integrations > Xero Accounting, click Settings. From here you can click onto the tab Logs to review the activity, date / time and response.

You can search for items by using the search box, or using the search categories.

Search via free text

By clicking into the search box and commence typing, it will search within the response field.

Search via categories

By clicking on the magnifying glass icon within the search bar, a drop-down will appear, showing search categories to aid in filtering results and locate the data quicker.
