Change a user password

Updated over 6 months ago

Only an Administrator can reset a users password on their behalf. This may be necessary when a user is locked out of their account or unable to complete the reset process. Ensuring a secure and efficient reset process helps maintain system integrity while minimising downtime. It’s important to verify the request is genuine and the user identity before proceeding to prevent unauthorised access.

To change a users password on their behalf, navigate to Settings > Manage Users, click on the user, click the down arrow in the top right corner and select Change Password. A pop-up box will appear asking you to confirm a new password which must be at least 6 characters, then click Change Password.
