Workflows in Wiplist help identify the stage your project is at by providing a clear, structured approach to track progress and update. This helps to expand the Project Status and mirror terminology, or stages that are common to your organisation.
With a templated workflows build in your Settings, it's simple to manually update.
They enable teams to stay aligned by clearly defining where it falls in the overall project lifecycle.
1. Apply a workflow to a project
Navigate to the Actions button, click Select Workflow from the drop down, a pop-up box will show the workflows available, click on your workflow, click Save Changes into apply. Some organisations will have multiple workflows to reflect their internal or external process, these will all show in the pop up to choose from.
2. How to update the workflow stage
In the project attributes panel, click on Workflow Stage, a pop-up window will show options available, manually click on the stage the best reflects the project stage. As soon as it has been selected, the pop-up will close, and the colour bar will update.
3. View a summary of workflow stages
In the Projects listing, update your Display Settings by clicking on the cog, and tick Workflow, this will show you a top level view of all projects and the workflow stage.
This can be a useful view to see where all the projects are at.
Workflows are managed by your internal administrators in Settings, for more detail information please refer to this Knowledge Base article on Workflows.
