Using the activity tab

Track, manage and notify purchase order-related activity.

The activity tab provides a detailed history of purchase order-related activity, this can be very handy when multiple users are interact with the same item. There are 3 key functions to the activity tab:

  1. Log activity,

  2. Comments and attachments,

  3. Collaboration via @mentions.

Activity tabs are available across projects, estimates, invoices and purchase orders offering consistent functionality for tracking and managing updates.

​1. Log activity

Log activity details the history of actions, including username, date and time stamps. These will show when an item has been created, changed status or sent.
​This data cannot be deleted, making it a reliable tool to track and monitor changes.

2. Comments and attachments

The comment input box allows you to include any commentary for anyone with view access to see. You can easily attach files from a local computer, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive/Sharepoint. Files size are limited to 10Mb.

Once a comments has been shared, you can highlighting any notable comments.
Comments can be edited or deleted by its author.

3. Collaboration

@mention teams, or specific team members for real-time notifications, enabling quick and easy conversations to be linked to the purchase order. Reply with written notes, or use the emojis to acknowledge in a single click.

Depending on users preferences, they can be notified by a pop-up, via email or alerted in Messages.
