Project status options

Monitor and update projects to keep your team aligned on progress.

Updated over a year ago

Project status options enable you to monitor progress, track and are an effective way to keep everyone updated. The status options are manually updated and can trigger other actions within the system, for example a completed project will close all open tasks, removing these from the teams view, enabling greater control of the project. Project status is a reportable field allowing valuable insights for your team and organisation.

Pending

The initial status when a project has been created and is being set up by the owner.

While a project is in a pending phase, the team can not view or enter any timesheet data. When an estimate has been accepted, the project will automatically change to In Progress.

In Progress

When a project goes live, or you'd like the team to view, and start capturing time.

On Hold

A project no longer has active tasks associated with the project, while in this phase, the project can continue to have timesheet entries captured

Complete

When a project, or scope has been finished. When the project changes to complete, all associated tasks will no longer appear in the project, or task listing for timesheets or scheduling.

Cancelled

The project has either been cancelled by the client, or cancelled internally.
