Manually sync a purchase order

Updated over a year ago

Manually syncing an purchase order allows you to update financial records when automatic syncing is turned off, has failed or a recent update needs to be reflected in Xero. . This helps keep purchase order details, such as quantities, pricing, and supplier information, accurately reflected across both systems for up-to-date records on budgeting, reporting, or supplier management

To sync with Xero, the purchase order must be On Order, navigate to the Actions button, select Sync with Xero.

It only takes a moment for the information to transfer, when it has successfully transferred a green Xero sync icon will appear at the base of the purchase order with a timestamp detailing the date and time the information transferred, a link to Open in Xero and the unique ID number below.

Your purchase order is then viewable in your Xero account.
