Manually syncing an expense allows you to update financial records when automatic syncing is turned off, has failed or a recent update needs to be reflected in Xero. This can be useful when updating amounts, categories, or payment details to keep financial records aligned and reconciled.
To sync with Xero, the expense must be Authorised or Billed, navigate to the Actions button, select Sync with Xero.
It only takes a moment for the information to transfer, when it has successfully transferred a green Xero sync icon will appear at the base of the expense with a timestamp detailing the date and time the information transferred, a link to Open in Xero and the unique ID number below.
Your expense is then viewable in Xero.
