Manually syncing a bill allows you to update financial records when automatic syncing is turned off, has failed or a recent update needs to be reflected in Xero.
It helps when reconciling payments or troubleshooting discrepancies, making sure records are accurate for reporting and expense tracking. By manually syncing a bill, you maintain visibility over costs and avoid potential mismatches between manual systems.
To sync with Xero, the bill order must be Open, navigate to the Actions button, select Sync with Xero.
It only takes a moment for the information to transfer, when it has successfully transferred a green Xero sync icon will appear at the base of the bill with a timestamp detailing the date and time the information transferred, a link to Open in Xero and the unique ID number below.
Your bill is then viewable in your Xero account.
